What to do when you feel stuck in life ?


There is a phase in life where everyone feels stuck and uninspired. You try everything to improve your life, but nothing changes. Frustration ensues because you’re unable to resolve the situation. Feeling stuck in life is a secret message to change something and make life interesting.

There are several reasons that you may be facing that make you feel stuck. It can be 9 to 5 job or it may be your relationship that make you feel so. Good news is that you have complete control on all these situations and turn the situation around.


Here are things to do when you feel stuck in life.



1.Accept the situation


Sometimes feeling stuck is common but best thing to do when you are in such situation is to accept it. In order to get to where you want to be, you first need to acknowledge where you are now and to allow yourself to fully experience that feeling. Take 5 to 10 minutes out of such situation and experience it. If you do so then you don't fell stuck anymore because being stuck was all in your head.



2. Entertain yourself


Being stuck is not the end of the world. Learn to entertain more when feeling stuck as it will give your mind more space to breathe. Watch good movies, listen to songs of your choice, hangout with friends and family. You can do anything which can entertain you and make you feel better.



3. One step at a time


You don't have to quit job right away when you feel stuck in the current job. Make proper plan before you quite current job. This applies to other aspects too which is making you feel stuck. Every single step taken towards your goal will get you closer day by day. Instead of making big move, take one small step at a time.



4. New beginnings can feel like endings.


Now, you may not actually see the opportunities that are coming your way. Those endings that make you sad and disappointed should be seen as new beginning. This is a new chapter in your life, your chance to change your life.



5. Stop overthinking


Whatever happens, happens. Just relax. You cannot control everything, so you need to learn to just let go of some things. You may be feeling stuck because you are always in your own head, worrying and obsessing. Overthinking will get you nothing but stress. So avoid overthinking and relax when things look bad.
